Email spencer.sutton@mac.com. A real person reads every message, and we usually reply within a day. Tell us what you were doing and what you saw, and include a screenshot if you can.

Use “Forgot password” on the website sign-in to reset it. The same email and password work in the app and on the website.

Ask the brother who leads the tribe for its invite link. Open it on your iPhone and Valor takes you straight to Join. If you install Valor first, create your account (or save it, if you looked around first). Then open Tribes, tap Join with code, and tap Paste invite. You can also tap Find your brothers on Home’s first-week checklist. Joining a tribe needs a saved account.

In Valor, go to Home, then Settings, then Notifications, and check what’s switched on. If it says notifications are off in iPhone Settings, tap Open Settings and turn them on for Valor.

Tap the flag on any post to report it or block the man who posted it. Tap the dots on a comment to block its author. A blocked man’s posts and comments disappear for you, he can’t reach you with notifications, and he isn’t told. Undo a block in Settings, then Blocked. We review every report within 24 hours.

In Valor, go to Home, then Settings, then Delete account. It permanently deletes your account and everything in it. If you lead a tribe, it passes to the brother who has been in it longest. You can also email us from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you.

Valor isn’t a crisis service. In the US, call or text 988, any time. Outside the US, call your local emergency number.
